It
is a career and market oriented, skill enhancing add-on
course that have utility for job and empowerment of
students which run parallel to the conventional Degree
course. It is a Certificate Course.
1.
The duration of the course is one year.
2.
The papers are given below.
Paper I - Accounting and Business Control
Paper II - Tally
Paper III - Project / Field work

Each paper will be of 100 Marks. For the first 3 papers 50 marks internal
and the balance 50 marks for the final written examination. A separate
minimum of 50% marks should be secured for a pass in both internal and
written examination. The report of Paper IV will be evaluated and marks
are awarded. Internal marks are awarded in the following manner.
Test papers (minimum 2) 20 marks, Seminar/Viva 10 marks,
Practical/ Assignments 10 marks, Attendance 10 marks. A minimum 75%
attendance is compulsory for appearing the final examination.

On successful completion of the course Certificate will be issued in the
joint names of the University and the college.
5.
Only Fifty seats are available. Students will be admitted on merit basis.
6.
Students undergoing any regular course in this college are eligible for
admission.
7.
The fees of the course are Rs. 1000/- payable at the time of admission to
the course
8. The Course is conducted and managed
by the Department of Commerce.
Mr. K.K. Tomy, Dept. of
Commerce, shall be the coordinator of the course.
