National Cadet Corps (N.C.C)
N.C.C. aims at kindling in students a spirit of discipline and willingness
to serve the country. Students can get themselves enrolled in the
beginning of each academic year.
The cadets are given regular training in the college and in campus
organized outside. Examinations are conducted and merit certificates
are awarded. Uniforms and refreshments are supplied free of cost.

b). National Service Scheme (N.S.S)
N.S.S. is a voluntary association of students, coming under the management
of Human Dept., Govt. of India, to promote discipline, leadership,
national integration, religious harmony, work culture, respect for labour
Gandhian principles and to channelise the energy and enthusiasm of the
youth in productive endeavours. Those who successfully complete the
training under the scheme will be awarded certificates and are eligible
for grace marks for higher studies. The following are the programme

Women's Study Centre is an association of women students of the college
providing opportunities for developing their talents, conscientisation of

e). Blood Donor's Forum
The members of the forum are carrying on the work of the "Good Samaritan"
by donating blood. All the members of the Elian Family can join this forum
and express solidarity with the suffering humanity. This forum
functions under the college National Service Scheme.
f). Read Cross Society
A branch of Red Cross Society is functioning in the college. Its
humanitarian activities are coordinated by the N.S.S unit of the college. |
